The Local Government Board has recently approved the award to Gabriel Navarro Olmedo the beekeeping until May 31, 2023 of the six public forests of Totana, in accordance with the specifications that governed this tender.
The exploitations are two in Cabezo Gordo (Chíchar place), Cabezo de la Rendija (La Rendija), Coto de Santa Eulalia (Well of Santa Bárbara), and two in Sierra and Llano de las Cabras (Maraña).
In addition, it was agreed to liquidate Gabriel Navarro Olmedo for the amount of 180 euros corresponding to the first year of beekeeping until May 31, 2019. The remaining years of use will be settled in the month of June of the years 2019 to 2022 , respectively.
On March 16, 2018, the General Directorate of the Natural Environment issued a resolution complementary to that of October 17, 2017, which approved the 2017 Annual Exploitation Plan, in order to include beekeeping settlements in publicly owned forests, both in terms of ownership. municipal as of ownership of the Autonomous Community.
