The councilor of the Treasury informs about the liquidation of the 2017 budget and the new agreement on cadastral management, agreed by the municipal plenary (02/05/2018)

The Councilor for Finance, Ana María Cánovas, recently reported on the plenary agreements established by the Municipal Corporation in the last session in April, in which the liquidation of the 2017 budget and the new collaboration agreement on the matter were reported. of cadastral management, replacing the agreement of May 2009.

Regarding the settlement of the 2017 budget, the mayor explained that it is based on the budgetary status of the exercise that is sent telepathically to the Autonomous Community and the State Administration, whose conditions are intended to maintain budget stability and expenditure rule.

On the liquidation of 2017, the councilor said that the budgets are "in line" with the needs of the City Council and noted that they have recorded a negative cash balance of 581,000 euros, as a result of the files with balances of suppliers and agreements with an antiquity of more than 10 years that have conditioned the amount of the Treasury.

In this regard, he stressed that balances have been debugged, adjustments have been made, the extra 2016 has been paid to public employees, 75% of the extra has been paid since 2012, overtime paid to the Police Local and affected personnel, salary increases and the BBVA credit have been collected.

The council added that, in this, the expenses have not been used up all (93%) and reported that the financial debt amounts to 97 million euros, whose increase corresponds to the Commonwealth of the Taibilla Channels (4.8 million euros and the BBVA coverage.

In addition, explained that the gross saving has been 883,000 euros and ensured that the average payment at the City is 60 days to companies of first necessity and more than a year to which they do not have this connotation.

New Cadastral agreement

On the new agreement on cadastral management approved last Thursday by the plenary, which comes to replace the one signed on May 26, 2009, the mayor of Finance gave that this "is not subject to more cost by the City Council, we gives more autonomy when it comes to the management of urban and rural properties ".

He added that all the conditions of the previous agreement are collected and benefit users when carrying out their administrative procedures to simplify the way of working legally, physically and economically;

and reiterated that the most important thing in the agreement is "the autonomy it gives us to update the cadastral registry".

Measures of the Ministry of Finance

On the measures set by the Ministry of Finance to the City Council, the mayor of the branch said that "every time we are subjected to more severe restrictions" and recalled that, right now, the average payment period set by the Ministry is not met, which did not rule out new measures in the coming months.

The councilor of the Treasury predicted that in May the new budget draft will be presented to the Ministry and argued that "it does not deserve a new Adjustment Plan".
